Our Mission
We want you to be freed from the binds of intergenerational trauma so that you feel fulfilled and proud to be a Second Nations person who honours all of your ancestors and is an authentic ally to First Nations peoples.
We support you to decolonise and reindigenise where you are now, to strengthen your spirit, integrate earth culture healing ceremonies and practices into your daily life, ground yourself and respectfully connect with ancestors of your lineages, of spiritual significance, and of the land.

What is Earth Ethos?
Earth Ethos facilitates being human and healing together with all of our relations. Indigenous thinking and ways of being are our foundation, as shared in the book Healing Through Indigenous Wisdom (2024).
All of us, whether we are First or Second Nations people are spiritually (not necessarily politically) Indigenous to the Earth. Many cultures use a medicine wheel as a framework to make sense of the world and our place in it. Through ceremony and relationships based on reciprocity, we can live and work in a way that honours the Indigenous peoples and ancestry of the land where we live, our lineages, and all beings. This is a path of de-colonisation, re-indigenisation, vitalisation, embodiment, and practicing indigenous science.

Join us on Yuin Land, Tilba NSW for an in-person retreat with Earth Ethos.
Each retreat is centred around an earth-culture ceremony to support you to journey around the Medicine Wheel.
You may join at any point and attend as many as you feel moved to.

Gift Economy Ethos
We aim to cover humble costs and do our work with a gift economy ethos. Known as the “give-away” in Native American cultures, it is based on a mutual agreement of being in sacred reciprocity. Our ceremonial work is exclusively done within the gift economy, and other work is done in that spirit, mindful that in the modern world we have fixed costs in a transactional, capitalist economy.

Nestled at the foothills of Gulaga Mountain on Yuin Country, Earth Ethos hosts immersive in-person wellness and healing retreats in Tilba on the Far South Coast of NSW – Just 15 minutes from Narooma or 45 minutes from Bega.
